Particularly high activity for eye tumor treatments
IsoSeed® I25.S16 is used for the treatment of eye tumors, such as uveal melanomas and retinoblastomas. As an I-125 source, it emits low-energy photon radiation with greater tissue penetration than Ru-106 beta radiation, offering an additional treatment option for cases where Ru-106 Eye Applicators may not be suitable.
